Gurupurnima is a traditional Indian festival celebrated to honor and express gratitude towards one’s teachers or gurus. It falls on the full moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June-July). During Gurupurnima, students and disciples pay homage to their teachers, mentors, and guides, acknowledging their wisdom, guidance, and contributions to their lives. It is a day of spiritual significance, marked by various rituals, prayers, and offerings. In educational institutions like TNRAO college, Gurupurnima is observed as a day to recognize the importance of teachers and their pivotal role in shaping students’ lives and futures.
