GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION

T. N. Rao College celebrated Guru Purnima on 29 July 2026 to commemorate the sacred Guru–Shishya tradition and to promote the values of respect, gratitude, discipline, and lifelong learning among students. The celebration featured student speeches, a meaningful drama, and a faculty appreciation activity, providing students with an opportunity to express their gratitude towards their teachers and understand the importance of the teacher’s role in shaping their personal and professional development. The college was privileged to have Pada Padma Dasa Prabhu, Head of the Hare Krishna Movement, Rajkot, as the esteemed guest. He delivered an insightful session on the significance of a Guru, human values, discipline, and practical wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita. The event encouraged students to appreciate the importance of mentors and teachers, develop positive values, and incorporate principles of discipline, gratitude, and ethical living into their lives. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt expression of appreciation towards the faculty members.
