T. N. Rao College organized a seminar on “AppSheet Mastery: Transforming Google Sheets into Powerful Apps” on 26.09.2025 for SY and TY BCA students. The session was conducted by Mr. Shubham Rathi along with student Danidhariya Harshil. The seminar focused on demonstrating how Google Sheets can be transformed into powerful, practical applications using AppSheet. Through this session, students gained hands-on exposure, enhanced their creativity, and developed technical skills and innovative thinking. The interactive learning experience also strengthened their problem-solving approach.

The B.C.A. Department of T.N. Rao College organized Matki and Jhula Decoration Competitions as part of the Janmashtami celebration on 06.08.2025, with Dr. Ramu Khint as the judge. Students of T. N. Rao College organized a 2-day canteen initiative, aiming not just to serve food, but to make a meaningful impact. During the event, participants managed the canteen, coordinated sales, and engaged with visitors, all while fostering a spirit of teamwork and community service. The profits earned from the initiative were used to donate bed sheets to those in need at the hospital, spreading warmth and care beyond the meals served. The activity was a heartwarming example of how small actions can create a big impact, reflecting the values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among students.

T. N. Rao College Rotract Club, in collaboration with Kundariya Foundation and B.T. Savani Hospital , organized a Haemoglobin Testing Camp on 4th August, 2025. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Tirthraj Barot, Mr. Shubham Rathi, Prof. Shruti Jivani, Dr. Mital Vora, Dr. Mital Brahmbhatt, Dr. Ramu Khint, Asst. Prof. Janki Gangani, and Jayshree Donga. Students and staff participated actively, received free tests, and gained valuable health guidance.

The atmosphere was vibrant yet focused, setting the stage fo r an inspiring expert talk by Dr. Shraddha B. Barot, Associate Professor, Department of Education, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. Her presence radiated warmth and intellect, inviting everyone to embark on a journey of understanding the “Guilford’s Structure of Intellect (SI) Model and Human Intelligence.”

T. N. Rao College organized a refreshing yoga session led by certified instructor Ms. Urvashi, focusing on asanas, pranayama, and meditation. The session promoted physical well-being, mental clarity, and stress relief, leaving participants energized and more mindful.

The Orientation Program 2025 was successfully organized on 23rd June by Department of Commerce and Management at T. N. Rao College Auditorium. The event began with a prayer and classical dance theme based Ganesh Vandana. Our Head of Department welcomed all the New students in T. N. Rao family. Students performed a energetic group dance and showcased their talent and creativity. We invited Dr.Lalit Chande to make this event more special. He took a session on "smart moves in career build-up". Our students got inspiration and professional guidance from this session. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of referral awards and refreshments. Overall, the event was a grand success, The new students got familiar with the staff, rules and rituals of college, also received positive feedback from all attendees regarding the session

The farewell party for the Third-Year (TY) students of the BBA and B.Com departments at T.N. Rao College, Rajkot, was held with great enthusiasm on 20th march 2025.The event, organized by the junior students and faculty, was a memorable evening filled with joy, nostalgia, and heartfelt goodbyes. The program began with a warm welcome speech, followed by entertaining performances, including music, dance, and fun-filled games. One of the highlights of the evening was the delicious dinner, which featured a variety of mouth-watering dishes. Rotaract Club of T. N. Rao College successfully conducted a Digital Literacy Awareness Campaign across multiple schools. The campaign focused on empowering young students with essential knowledge about safe, responsible, and effective use of digital platforms. Our student teams designed interactive presentations and practical demonstrations covering topics such as online safety, cyber security, digital ethics, and the importance of technology in education.

Kalladhya brings the spirit of Navratri alive with music, dance, and devotion. Students will showcase their talents through songs, skits, poetry, drama, classical dance, garba, singing, western performances, and instrumental music. The fest is a celebration of culture, creativity, and togetherness, where performances can be solo or group, making every moment vibrant and memorable.

With hearts full of devotion and joy, T. N. Rao College warmly welcomed Bappa on the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Students and faculty actively participated in the celebrations, offering prayers, decorating the campus, and coming together in a spirit of togetherness, positivity, and festive cheer.

Students expressed their gratitude through heartfelt acts, fun-filled activities, and by honoring their teachers with love and respect. Variya on the importance of cyber security, exclusively for our B.Com, BBA and BCA girls, in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department. The session provided students hands-on skills to create professional websites effectively. The B.C.A. Department of T.N. Rao College organized a Rakhi Decoration Competition as part of the Rakshabandhan celebration. Dr. Ramu Khint was invited as the judge to evaluate the participants. Rao College, in collaboration with IBS Business School, successfully organized an interactive session on Resume Writing and Interview Skills on 04.08.2025, conducted by Professor Pranav Gosalia for FY, SY, and TY BCA students. The session provided practical and valuable guidance to enhance students’ career readiness, covering various types of interviews, the STAR model for structuring responses, ATS-friendly resume formats, do’s and don’ts in resumes and interviews, effective use of AI tools for resume creation and interview preparation, and the importance of both technical and soft skills.

T.N. Rao College organized a Hardware Workshop exclusively for FY BCA students on 25.7.2025, led and explained by our talented SY and TY students, showcasing their skills and guiding juniors with hands-on learning and real-time demonstrations. Students not only observed but also handled the hardware themselves, gaining practical understanding of its functioning. Rao College organized an expert session on “Modern Web Development using .NET” on 19.7.2025 with Mr. Nagin Raychura from Webzero Tech World, who shared valuable insights and demonstrated a live .NET MVC web app, giving students real-time learning experience. He also explained best coding practices, project structuring, debugging techniques, and highlighted career opportunities in web development, motivating students to apply these skills in practical projects and enhancing their understanding of modern software development workflows.

Health Awareness Seminar at T.N. Rao College on 28.6.2025: We were honored to have Dr. Prashant Vanzar, Senior Oncologist from Wockhardt Hospital, as our guest speaker. His insightful and engaging session on health awareness, early cancer detection, lifestyle choices, and the importance of self-care truly inspired our students, reminding everyone that awareness is the first step toward prevention and that youth have the power to create a healthier, more informed future for themselves and others.

On 17.06.2025, Day-2 of the Orientation Program at T. N. Prakriti Parikshan Seminar at T.N. Rao College On 21st December 2024, T.N. Rao College hosted a seminar on "Desh Ka Prakruti Parikshan" as part of a nationwide campaign launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. The campaign, implemented by the Ministry of AYUSH and National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, aims to assess the Prakriti (body constitution) of every Indian citizen. During the seminar, students learned how understanding their Prakriti can help in personalized lifestyle and dietary recommendations for better health and disease prevention. Free Prakriti assessments and e-certificates were provided, guiding individuals to live healthier lives.

On 9th September 2024, T.N. Rao College's BCA department celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Sthapana, marking the beginning of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The event was organized with great devotion, aiming to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of new beginnings. The celebration commenced with a traditional sthapana puja, performed with full reverence, followed by an aarti and devotional songs. Students and staff participated enthusiastically, with various departments contributing to the decorations and preparations for the event. After the religious rituals, students enjoyed a lively Garba session, adding to the cultural festivity and joy of the occasion. An Inner department Ad-Mad Competition was held for the students of B.com & BBA department on Tuesday 9th January, 2024. Advertisements are commercials that are designed to get the attention of the consumers. The purpose behind them is to get motivate the consumers. It requires a lot of creativity and some quirk. Ads comprise both humour and conceptual presentation. Each group was allotted a topic on which they were asked to create an advertisement. The competition was bi-lingual wherein the participants were judged on content, team work, presentation, audience attention, creativity and highlight of ideas with less efforts with overall performance. Each team presented their ad with gusto. The live advertisement had excellent input of humour along with commercial and social messages. Each class presented a unique piece of performance. Besides showing ads with social messages. it was a good confidence building exercise. The program was highly appreciated by the judges, teachers and students.

on Friday the 7th of April which is celebrated as " World Health Day", T.N. Rao College has organized a free eye checkup campaign. The event was started by chief guests by lighting the lamp. There were eminent doctors who visited the campus from Netradeep Hospital to join our event. After that, Dr. Avni Sapovadia speaks a few words and spread awareness of eye disorders. The doctors though presented a documentary that helped to prevent the further deterioration of the eyesight. Furthermore, the members of the Rotaract club performed a skit related to health awareness. The students, management staff, janitor, chambermaid, and charwomen, were also provided with legitimate reports stating their eye health status.

An expert session on the topic of IoT & AI for BCA students. The speaker was Mr. Alpesh Barot - a teacher in Shri Dasi Jivan Vidhya Mandir, Gondal. He gave an introduction and brief knowledge of IoT. Furthermore, he explained the connection between devices and human values. He showed many types of IoT platforms like NodeMCU, NodeMCU Mini, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc. He also gave information on different types of sensors and displayed real-life practical application videos. How IoT is connected with AI & How IoT's different software and hardware are used and coded were shown and expertise.

On 14th Feb 2023 , Students of T.N Rao College paid tribute to the 4 years of Pulwama Attack: Remembering 40 CRPF Personnel Martyred in the 2019 Pulwama Terror Attack. The documentary on “Know your defense forces and Aftermath of Pulwama attack ” was shown to all the departments. Every festival is incomplete without garba... Cyber Security Workshop was organized by Cyber Protectors for BCA students to spread awareness about Cyber Crime. The expert speaker was Mr. Naresh Makwana (Founder of Cyber Protectors), Bhavesh Chavda & Mansi Vaja. The workshop included topics like Ethical Hacking Social Media Hacking and Security which the speakers elaborated on and explained.
A few highlighted points of the workshop are as follows:
1. Live demo of Facebook, Instagram and Email_ID hacking.
2. Using mobile numbers, experts hacked the phone
3. Precautions to be taken while using Social Media Platforms were explained in detail with many live examples. All the students were highly engaged in the workshop by conducting questionnaires with experts.

On 9th February 2023 an expert session was held at T. N. Rao College, BBA/B.Com Department for girls students.  The subject of the seminar was "Import-Export Business" and the keynote speaker Mr. Sagar Agravat gave detailed information about Import-Ex. He guided the students about how to start a business in the Import Export field and emphasis on women's entrepreneurship. TPL-2023 (T. N. Rao Premier League) Girls Tournament was held between the Computer,  Science,  Commerce & Education Departments. Six teams participated in the competition. The final match was played between Major Eleven (B.Ed) & Aqua Eleven (B.Sc & B.Com). The winner of the tournament was Major Eleven. BCA Department organized QUIZ TRENT (IT QUIZ Competition) & Poster presentation competition held for BCA students to test and present their IQ Levels. 15 teams participated in a Poster presentation competition in which different IT Topics were covered and presented. All the participants were awarded a participation certificate and certificates of achievement along with medals were awarded to all the rankers. The judges of the Poster Presentation Competition were Dr. Nayan Jobanputrasir & Asifkhan Yusufzaisir.

On 17th December 2022, Saturday an expert session was held at T. N. Rao College. Skincare Consultant and owner of Organica clinic, Mrs. Tulsi Upadhyay (Cosmetologist) presented and held a seminar with girls.  She discussed girls' problems, they face in the initial stage & the beginning of adulthood. She dealt with the girls, pimple problems, hair problems, and hormonal changes and provide them with appropriate advice. She also spread awareness about PCOD/PCOS which can be crucial if not treated. It was a really enjoyable and informative experience for girls which felt like celebrating womanhood.

T. N. Rao College Organized By Dr. Yashvantshinh Jadeja Expert Session For BSc Student. In this expert session, Dr. Yashwantsinh Jadeja explained the importance of research to BSc students.

Our B.Sc. and M.Sc. students visited NFDD, the center of excellence, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. To give students an opportunity to learn practically through an interactive manner such visits are introduced as a part of academics. The understanding and handling of scientific techniques like HPLC, GC-MS, UPLC, and NMR.

T. N. Rao College Organized Orientation Program For B.Ed. students. Mr. Tirtharaj Barot, CEO of Rao Information Technology encouraged our future teachers. Dr. Vinod Ramani our chief guest of the orientation program has elaborated on the importance of teachers as a pioneer of society.

A Seminar Was Organized by our College for Students in which Dr. Rajesh Ram gave a Lecture on Mental Health.  Looking at the current scenario teenagers are at the peak of their stress and anxiety. His wise words of guidance magnified our cause of awareness.

The sole purpose of the event was to explore their creative minds and bring out the hidden potential of the students that lies within. More than 600 rakhis were sent to various army regiments in remembrance of our soldiers on Kargil Vijay Divas. For applauding the spirit and respecting the sentiments of students they have sent letters of appreciation, mementos, and photographs of tying rakhis. We are proud of our superheroes.

We welcomed our Enthusiastic Newcomers to the Science Department. Our new glorious faces were heartily addressed and encouraged for their new journey of life. As a perk of our orientation, Star cast Kinjal Rajpriya and Aarjav Trivedi visited our campus for the promotion of the movie 53mu Panu.

It was a fun-filled and exceptional experience in a lap of nature. The trip was acknowledged by the farmers which gave knowledge regarding the paradox of poverty, a buffer stock of food grains, and the importance of hard work.

Repute info system visited our campus for recruitment of various IT posts organized by T.N. Rao college placement cell. 6o students faced the interview and the selected students joined.

BCA Department held a workshop organized for students on programming with PHP. About 180 students of the BCA department participated in this workshop program. In this program, it was necessary to guide the students in PHP programming with good PHP experts.  All the students showed interest in this program and got good guidance.

T. N. Rao College BCA  Student Visited SharePoint empowers PVT Ltd.  Its a matter of immense pleasure that SharePoint empowers PVT Ltd one of the reputed IT companies that collaborated for the placement of our BCA students. In this field trip students were given information about the company and its environment.

The Orientation Program For BCA Batch 2022-2025. New Comers were warmly welcomed by existing students. The program was fun-filled, informative, and enriched by IT insights. It was enlightened by Managing Trustee Dr. Nidatt Barot and CEO of Rao Information Technology DR. Tirthraj Barot.

To encourage the inner artist of our students, we have organized the block printing competition at the college. Some of the best and most creative outcomes of block printings made by our students.

To provide our students and teachers the opportunity to learn from experts from various field and different industry intelligence, we organize multiple guest lectures at our college. This was one of the guest lectures where Dr. Chotaliya has given insights into ancient Hinduism and its secrets and how one can learn Sanskrit by practicing it. To guide our students with their careers, we organized a guest lecture on the subject ‘Career in Science’ by Dr. Ramesh Kothari, Associate Professor, Department of BioScience, Saurashtra University, and Dr. Jaysukh Markana, H.O.D., Nano Technology Department, V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot.

Students should learn to give their contribute to the development of society. With this objective, we encourage students to take part in different social activities. With the help of our faculties and the ‘Rotary Club of Rajkot Midtown’, students of B.Sc., M.Sc. and B.Ed. organized blood donation camp. Every donor was honored with a certificate for their helpful gesture.

We are proud to share that our students are giving noticeable and winning performances at the university level in different activities. These are a glimpse of the inter-college participation of our students in the Bardoli Inter-University Youth Festival.

In the year 2019, T N Rao College along with other colleges in Rajkot organized a live music concert. RJ Abha, Dj Akiza, and Tonny Kakkar were the centers of attraction for all the students.

To provide students with knowledge of the current situation in the various fields & industries, we regularly arrange seminars with different industry experts. To give insights into cyber security, T N Rao college has conducted a seminar on Cyber security with the help of Vioal E-Learning PVT. LTD. more than 60 BCA students have participated in it and learned about cyber security needs, and different hacking techniques.
