The seminar titled "Goal Setting and Career Management" was recently organised for BCA students, offering crucial insights into effective goal planning and successful career strategies. Geared towards empowering students in the dynamic field of computer applications, the event focused on equipping them with skills for a well-managed and focused professional journey. Attendees gained practical tips and guidance to set and achieve their career aspirations in the field of computer applications.

An informative and empowering session was conducted by 181 Abhayam and the Sakhi One Stop Center, providing valuable guidance to girl students on self-defence, safety, and awareness. The representatives shared important information about various government initiatives and support systems available for women in distress, emphasizing the importance of self-confidence, vigilance, and timely action in challenging situations.

A rejuvenating Yoga Activity was successfully conducted under the expert guidance of Mr. Jasmin Panchasara, Incharge of Life Yoga Academy and Assistant Manager at Project ‘Life’, Rajkot. The session emphasized the importance of physical fitness, mental peace, and emotional balance in our daily lives. Students actively participated with great enthusiasm, learning various asanas, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices aimed at enhancing concentration and overall well-being.
Mr. Panchasara shared valuable insights on how regular yoga practice can help manage stress, improve posture, and build inner strength. The event created a serene and positive atmosphere on campus, encouraging everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their lifestyle for holistic health and harmony.

Our college proudly hosted an engaging and informative Navy Visit Outreach Program, offering students an enriching opportunity to explore the fascinating world of naval operations, discipline, and career prospects. The session aimed to inspire young minds by providing first-hand insights into the life, values, and responsibilities of the Indian Navy. Officers interacted with students, sharing their real-life experiences, the importance of teamwork, leadership, and dedication in serving the nation. The event not only broadened students’ understanding of maritime defense and national security but also encouraged them to consider a future in the armed forces. It was a day filled with learning, inspiration, and patriotic spirit—truly igniting a sense of pride and respect for our naval heroes.

In a delightful celebration of the cherished bond between brothers and sisters, our college organized a vibrant Rakhi Making Competition that beautifully blended creativity, culture, and emotion. The event added a joyful touch of festivity and tradition to the academic atmosphere, as students enthusiastically participated in crafting colorful and meaningful rakhis. Each design reflected love, artistry, and the deep-rooted values of Indian culture. The competition not only showcased the students’ artistic talents but also reminded everyone of the importance of relationships, unity, and togetherness that Raksha Bandhan symbolizes. The event created a heartwarming ambiance across the campus, making it a truly memorable and festive occasion for all.

TN RAO college performs various activities along with studies Activities which provides knowledge and fun to the students, So on the day of 12th August TN RAO college BBA department has arranged the TREASURE HUNT in which multiple teams were challenged to find out the actual treasure and to level up their mind with brain storming alphabet arrangement games, It was joyful for all the students as well very attentive idea to sharp their mind. The winning team was rewarded tiny gifts also by the arrangers. Last year students of BBA has arranged this whole game and had given so many efforts to make it more entertaining. It was very joyful experience for the freshers specially.

Our college organized an exciting badminton tournament exclusively for the interns, showcasing a vibrant blend of athleticism, teamwork, and friendly competition within the intern community. With intense matches and strategic maneuvers, participants demonstrated their skills, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie across the campus.

In an effort to promote holistic well-being and inject a burst of vibrant energy into our college community, a "Healthy Breakfast with Green-Colored Outfit Day" has been organized. This innovative event not only encourages students and faculty to prioritize their health but also adds a colorful twist to our daily routines. The green theme is not just a nod to fashion; it serves as a symbol of health, balance, and a connection to nature.

An informative seminar at T N Rao BBA B.COM department held at 3rd of August by NSE experts Dr.Ushma gosai & Mr.Bhavin gosai about financial planning of savings and investment, there were also the subjects mentioned about Mutual funds, NSE, BSE and SEBI as well the awareness regarding IPO & FPO It was an informative experience for all the girls regarding investment planning & securities 🎓

Grammar activity On 28th July 2023, an activity was organized by BBA/B.Com. Department at T.N. Rao College. The grammar activity was on 'Homophones'. Tha aim of this activity was that students know about the correct pronunciation of the same words and the use of homophones in the right sense. This activity was conducted by Shital Upadhyay and Yashvi Sanchaniya. Students understand its worth and importance and enjoyed this grammar activity which enhance their language skills.

Seminar on the topic "4 Pillars of Significant Life", on 27th July 2023 for FY BCA students. We were privileged to have our distinguished speaker, Prof. Lalit Chande, the Executive Director at Win ++ Academy. It was truly an enlightening and inspiring experience for all the students. There was an interactive session taken by Ms. Meghal Desai, which students enjoyed a lot. Students were motivated and inspired by this seminar. Prof. Lalit Chande sir's guidance opened new doors of possibilities and all the students were excited to explore the path of living a more significant and fulfilling life. Prof. Lalit Chande sir took us on an inspiring journey by sharing different success stories of his career. Empowering Knowledge for a Healthier Tomorrow 🌼 T.N. Rao College proudly hosted a cancer awareness session led by the renowned Dr. Khyati Vasavada, Consultant Head and Neck Oncosurgeon, and now the Medical Director and Surgical Oncologist at Rajkot Cancer Society for the past 6 months. Her expertise shines a light on the path to a cancer-free future.

on Friday the 7th of April which is celebrated as " World Health Day", T.N. Rao College has organized a free eye checkup campaign. The event was started by chief guests by lighting the lamp. There were eminent doctors who visited the campus from Netradeep Hospital to join our event. After that, Dr. Avni Sapovadia speaks a few words and spread awareness of eye disorders. The doctors though presented a documentary that helped to prevent the further deterioration of the eyesight. Furthermore, the members of the Rotaract club performed a skit related to health awareness. The students, management staff, janitor, chambermaid, and charwomen, were also provided with legitimate reports stating their eye health status.

T. N. Rao College, Rajkot organized Volleyball Tournament on 28th February 2023, Tuesday. Boy's Volleyball Tournament was held between the Computer,  Science,  Commerce & Education Departments. Six teams participated in the competition. The final match was played between BCA Department and B.Ed Department. The winner of the tournament was BCA Department. The winning team, Best Attacker & Star Performer was awarded by Trusteesir Tirthraj Barot.

On 25th February 2023, a Seminar was organized at T. N. Rao College,BBA/B.Com Department for Girls students. The subject of the Seminar was "Emotional Intelligence Skills". Mr. Chirag Ruparel from Ravi Computers was the keynote speaker and guided the students about the requirements of corporate communication skills and how to develop Emotional Intelligence skills to retain in this competitive world. He gave a brief introduction to IQ and EQ and discussed their importance in the business field. The session became so interactive as students also took part in the discussion and finally the Interview was held as a part of college placement.

On 25th February 2023, a Seminar was organized at T. N. Rao College, BBA/B.Com Department for Girls students. The subject of the Seminar was "Emotional Intelligence Skills." An expert session on the topic of IoT & AI for BCA students. The speaker was Mr. Alpesh Barot - a teacher in Shri Dasi Jivan Vidhya Mandir, Gondal. He gave an introduction and brief knowledge of IoT. Furthermore, he explained the connection between devices and human values. He showed many types of IoT platforms like NodeMCU, NodeMCU Mini, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc. He also gave information on different types of sensors and displayed real-life practical application videos. How IoT is connected with AI & How IoT's different software and hardware are used and coded were shown and expertise.

On 14th Feb 2023 , Students of T.N Rao College paid tribute to the 4 years of Pulwama Attack: Remembering 40 CRPF Personnel Martyred in the 2019 Pulwama Terror Attack. The documentary on “Know your defense forces and Aftermath of Pulwama attack ” was shown to all the departments. Every festival is incomplete without garba... Gujarat's Culture Day on 11th February. Then on the 13th A POT PARTY was arranged for the students where they were supposed to prepare some dishes at college itself and enjoy with everyone. Cyber Security Workshop was organized by Cyber Protectors for BCA students to spread awareness about Cyber Crime. The expert speaker was Mr. Naresh Makwana (Founder of Cyber Protectors), Bhavesh Chavda & Mansi Vaja. The workshop included topics like Ethical Hacking Social Media Hacking and Security which the speakers elaborated on and explained.
A few highlighted points of the workshop are as follows:
1. Live demo of Facebook, Instagram and Email_ID hacking.
2. Using mobile numbers, experts hacked the phone
3. Precautions to be taken while using Social Media Platforms were explained in detail with many live examples. All the students were highly engaged in the workshop by conducting questionnaires with experts.

On 9th February 2023 an expert session was held at T. N. Rao College, BBA/B.Com Department for girls students.  The subject of the seminar was "Import-Export Business" and the keynote speaker Mr. Sagar Agravat gave detailed information about Import-Ex. He guided the students about how to start a business in the Import Export field and emphasis on women's entrepreneurship. And also gave information about the foreign business policy.

TPL-2023 (T. N. Rao Premier League) Girls Tournament was held between the Computer,  Science,  Commerce & Education Departments. Six teams participated in the competition. The final match was played between Major Eleven (B.Ed) & Aqua Eleven (B.Sc & B.Com). The winner of the tournament was Major Eleven. The winning team, women of the Series & Woman of The Match, were awarded by Trusteesir Tirthraj Barot.

BCA Department organized QUIZ TRENT (IT QUIZ Competition) & Poster presentation competition held for BCA students to test and present their IQ Levels. 15 teams participated in a Poster presentation competition in which different IT Topics were covered and presented. All the participants were awarded a participation certificate and certificates of achievement along with medals were awarded to all the rankers. The judges of the Poster Presentation Competition were Dr. Nayan Jobanputrasir & Asifkhan Yusufzaisir.

An Expert Seminar on the topic of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE was held for BCA students. The seminar was exercised by  Jaydeep Dedaniya - Data Scientist  and founder of DarwinLab.AI. During the seminar, many topics were covered by him such as the Introduction of AI & Data Science, Why AI?, Daily life use cases of AI, Different streams in AI, Industry Case Studies, Career scope, etc. The seminar remained interactive and students got the answers to their queries. From this seminar, the student's knowledge was cherished.

T. N. Rao college's BBA and B.com dept. has organized an industrial visit at AMA Ahmedabad. An expertised lecture has been arranged by AMA itself to cover almost points covered in management. The seminar remained interactive and informative. Students gained knowledge about the management skills.

On 17th December 2022, Saturday an expert session was held at T. N. Rao College. Skincare Consultant and owner of Organica clinic, Mrs. Tulsi Upadhyay (Cosmetologist) presented and held a seminar with girls.  She discussed girls' problems, they face in the initial stage & the beginning of adulthood. She dealt with the girls, pimple problems, hair problems, and hormonal changes and provide them with appropriate advice. She also spread awareness about PCOD/PCOS which can be crucial if not treated. It was a really enjoyable and informative experience for girls which felt like celebrating womanhood.

T. N. Rao College SY & TY BCA students attended GitHub - Code Innovation Series Weekend Online Workshop for educational institutions in India. 80+ Students participated in this workshop. Topics covered during the workshop were  Open Source Fundamentals, Getting Started with Git & GitHub, and Building simple applications using the Student Developer Pack. Students achieved Certificates for participation.

The main aim is to enhance the art of public speaking which gives a self-boost and confidence to speak in front of a large audience.  To create a connection with an audience who is listening to them through voice modulation

BCA students visited Qtonz Infosoft Pvt. Ltd.  software company. The CEO Mr. Piyush Kasundra and HR Miss Dipali Desai gave an introduction about the company and how to manage the project information. 60+ students with staff members visited the company. Students to enhance their knowledge about how to develop coding, designing and gaming skills in the real world.

T. N. Rao College Organized By Mr. Rajesh Shingala Sir Expert Session For B.COM & BBA Student. Students of the Commerce and Management department of T. N. Rao College got immersed in knowledge on EQUITY and FUNDS by Mr. Rajesh Shingala.  Students were shown live equity trading dashboards and were taught the basics of investment methods.

T. N. Rao College Organized By Dr. Yashvantshinh Jadeja Expert Session For BSc Student. In this expert session, Dr. Yashwantsinh Jadeja explained the importance of research to BSc students.

Our B.Sc. and M.Sc. students visited NFDD, the center of excellence, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. To give students an opportunity to learn practically through an interactive manner such visits are introduced as a part of academics. The understanding and handling of scientific techniques like HPLC, GC-MS, UPLC, and NMR.

T. N. Rao College Organized Orientation Program For B.Ed. students. Mr. Tirtharaj Barot, CEO of Rao Information Technology encouraged our future teachers. Dr. Vinod Ramani our chief guest of the orientation program has elaborated on the importance of teachers as a pioneer of society.

A Seminar Was Organized by our College for Students in which Dr. Rajesh Ram gave a Lecture on Mental Health.  Looking at the current scenario teenagers are at the peak of their stress and anxiety. His wise words of guidance magnified our cause of awareness.

The sole purpose of the event was to explore their creative minds and bring out the hidden potential of the students that lies within. More than 600 rakhis were sent to various army regiments in remembrance of our soldiers on Kargil Vijay Divas. For applauding the spirit and respecting the sentiments of students they have sent letters of appreciation, mementos, and photographs of tying rakhis. We are proud of our superheroes.

We welcomed our Enthusiastic Newcomers to the Science Department. Our new glorious faces were heartily addressed and encouraged for their new journey of life. As a perk of our orientation, Star cast Kinjal Rajpriya and Aarjav Trivedi visited our campus for the promotion of the movie 53mu Panu.

It was a fun-filled and exceptional experience in a lap of nature. The trip was acknowledged by the farmers which gave knowledge regarding the paradox of poverty, a buffer stock of food grains, and the importance of hard work.

Repute info system visited our campus for recruitment of various IT posts organized by T.N. Rao college placement cell. 6o students faced the interview and the selected students joined.

BCA Department held a workshop organized for students on programming with PHP. About 180 students of the BCA department participated in this workshop program. In this program, it was necessary to guide the students in PHP programming with good PHP experts.  All the students showed interest in this program and got good guidance.

T. N. Rao College BCA  Student Visited SharePoint empowers PVT Ltd.  Its a matter of immense pleasure that SharePoint empowers PVT Ltd one of the reputed IT companies that collaborated for the placement of our BCA students. In this field trip students were given information about the company and its environment.

The Orientation Program For BCA Batch 2022-2025. New Comers were warmly welcomed by existing students. The program was fun-filled, informative, and enriched by IT insights. It was enlightened by Managing Trustee Dr. Nidatt Barot and CEO of Rao Information Technology DR. Tirthraj Barot.

To encourage the inner artist of our students, we have organized the block printing competition at the college. Some of the best and most creative outcomes of block printings made by our students.

To provide our students and teachers the opportunity to learn from experts from various field and different industry intelligence, we organize multiple guest lectures at our college. This was one of the guest lectures where Dr. Chotaliya has given insights into ancient Hinduism and its secrets and how one can learn Sanskrit by practicing it. To guide our students with their careers, we organized a guest lecture on the subject ‘Career in Science’ by Dr. Ramesh Kothari, Associate Professor, Department of BioScience, Saurashtra University, and Dr. Jaysukh Markana, H.O.D., Nano Technology Department, V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot.

Students should learn to give their contribute to the development of society. With this objective, we encourage students to take part in different social activities. With the help of our faculties and the ‘Rotary Club of Rajkot Midtown’, students of B.Sc., M.Sc. and B.Ed. organized blood donation camp. Every donor was honored with a certificate for their helpful gesture.

We are proud to share that our students are giving noticeable and winning performances at the university level in different activities. These are a glimpse of the inter-college participation of our students in the Bardoli Inter-University Youth Festival.

In the year 2019, T N Rao College along with other colleges in Rajkot organized a live music concert. RJ Abha, Dj Akiza, and Tonny Kakkar were the centers of attraction for all the students.

To provide students with knowledge of the current situation in the various fields & industries, we regularly arrange seminars with different industry experts. To give insights into cyber security, T N Rao college has conducted a seminar on Cyber security with the help of Vioal E-Learning PVT. LTD. more than 60 BCA students have participated in it and learned about cyber security needs, and different hacking techniques.
